Data Retention:
School Thing Limited retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of processing, including to meet our customers' expectations, fulfill contractual commitments, or comply with legal obligations. Data processed within core application and support systems is stored for the duration of the customer contract. When personal data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymised for statistical use.VSware retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the services requested by our Customers or to comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Specifically, data is stored for the duration of the customer's active contract, plus a reasonable period after your last interaction with us to resolve any pending queries or maintenance needs. When the personal data that we collect is no longer required in this way, we destroy or delete it in a secure manner.

Data Deletion:
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. For personal data processed within the VSware application where your school determines the purposes and means of processing, the school acts as the Data Controller. In these cases, School Thing Limited acts strictly as a Data Processor, and deletion requests must be directed to the school administration. If you contact us directly at privacy.vsware@visma.com regarding data held within the application, we will redirect your request to the relevant school for their instruction and review. For any processing activities where VSware acts as the Data Controller, you can submit a request directly to privacy.vsware@visma.com.

Data Breach Form

If you become aware of a data breach, please call support on 01-5549628 as soon as you can. The support line is available from 8:30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

If you notice a data breach outside of these hours, please use this contact form. Out of hours or weekend messages will monitored and responded to.
